Innovative Design started 40 years ago in Italy. In 2001 Motive was formed as a separate company and launched the new look of motors and gearboxes. They further expanded with a logistics branch in France (Lyon) in 2003, with construction of an additional factory in India in 2005. Another factory opened in Montirone BS Italy in 2006, with the second plant in 2007, and, in 2010, the completion of the Gulf logistic branch Motive M.E FZC in the United Arab Emirates. In 2018, EMIC was appointed as Sole Agent and Importer to Represent Motive S.r.l (Italy) in Africa. In 2019 EMIC was awarded the Sinocox Alternator agency for Africa.
